What are the chances that we ever see this classic on GOG?

I heard thar he changed his mind recently and is looking for release here.
And that's it, all we got to do is wait.

Here's one source where he's quoted with a vague statement regarding a possible GOG release, an interview in March:
https://rpgcodex.net/content.php?id=11115

In that he's saying that "there's good sense in trying to get KotC 1 on Steam and GOG" before the Kickstarter, however that sounds more like "maybe I'll do it, maybe I don't", and there's still a chance that the try doesn't succeed, for whatever reason, so take it with a grain of salt. It's probably hinging on the release of KotC2.

Maxvorstadt: Uhm, what is Knights of the Chalice? An RPG?

Knights of the Chalice is a PC computer role-playing game (CRPG) for Windows loosely based upon the Open Game Licence 3.5 (OGL), the set of rules at the root of the popular pen-and-paper role-playing game Dungeons & Dragons Edition 3.5, made by Wizards of the Coast.
So yeah, an indie RPG. I think it's around 10 years old by now, but so far the game is available only via the dev's website. Graphically, it's reminiscent of Ultima VII, gameplay is similar to the old Goldbox games (Pool of Radiance etc.), the story is somewhat inspired by the old D&D pen-and-paper modules "Scourge of the Slave Lords" and "Against the Giants".

Just found this vid on Youtube:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dOsYqp0XX9w
It`s about 2 1/2 hours long. I`ve only seen the first 8 minutes so far, but it seems to be really detailed. The guy is talking about many aspects of the game and legal things and so on.
